Artist Statement

“I feel that being an artist is a unique opportunity to extend Love to the people and things around me. My goal as a painter is to express my appreciation for my subjects and to create a relationship with them that is able to be witnessed by the viewer. Often in our society, not enough time is spent actually listening to and focusing on the beauty around us and I do this; in order to hopefully enliven this sense of patience and compassion which dwells, often too quietly, in each of us.”
